Community gardens have been growing in popularity over the past few years thanks to the multitude of benefits they offer both individuals and communities. Community gardens are a great way to bring together people of all ages, provide learning and skill development opportunities, and provide community members and local organizations with access to fresh, nutritious foods. In this webinar you will hear from Molly Hansen-Nagel, Board Chair of the Friends of the Mirror Library Society and Shelane Williams from the FCSS in Oyen, who will be sharing their community’s experience creating a community garden.
